I think that not only will Symantec have to sort themselves out, the Windows OEMs will have to rethink what deals they strike with whom or watch their sales further eroded. But these days I use my Mac more. In fact I just checked and there are no more updates, which mean that you antivirus protection is way out of date. I uninstalled for the last time more than a year ago and have never looked back.
