The update did nothing, and the fresh download is exactly the same. I have defragged, removed programs I don't use, restored, unplugged and replugged the router and modem, and hit repair connection numerous times. Ran hitman - just found cookies. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Let me know how you get on. I tried to fix the problem myself by running ad aware, spybot, ewido, Panda antivirus, and HijackThis. The start up is terribly slow, programs run slow or dont run at all.
