solved PC auto shut down randomly then it turns on after a few secs. cannot feel air coming out of the side vent..and let me run it in safe mode... I suggest try cleaning it out with compressed air from a can. If the laptop is cold as in just turned on since being off all night long there will not be any heat. It then powers down after about one minue.

Sony Vaio Turns Off After A Few Seconds My suspicion is drivers, even though i have disabled the one's that haven't been installed, from other forums I saw it could be GPU drivers, so try uninstalling your GPU driver and make sure you do that clean up once every 12 months at least.The CPU runs at maximum clock when its in the bios mode (thanks to the old bios) that's I'd suggest gently taking compressed air from a can and blasting it out.
